PACTS Parents As Career Transition Support

  1. Important Info
  2. PACTS Parents As Career Transition Support
Do you look blankly at your child when they come home and talk about: pathways, SACs, ATAR, Study Scores, VCAL, VET, VCE, VTAC etc, etc, etc!!!!???

If you would like to learn how to help your young person understand and transtion beyond school, then PACTS is for you.

With the governments new policy of 'earn or learn', knowing what to do/where to go to after secondary college, is now more important than ever before.

Studies how that within a childs 'circle of influence' that is: the people who have the most influence on them - 80% of children say it is a parent they listen to the most - even though you may not think it at the time!

Being able to speak with your young person and guide them through this transition is one of the best supports you can give.
Knowing how to do it requires an understanding of the process.

Learn that process in a casual environment, with easy to understand conversations with parents or care givers who are in the same boat as you - most parents have no idea or understand the language at what can sometimes be a confusing process of transition at the end of schooling.

Let's simplify the language and bust the myths!
